My New J.Crew Love

In the midst of packing for Europe, I realized that I didn't have a pair of capris that I liked enough to bring with me. I got online to search, and I came across the J.Crew ankle tootpick jeans.
Since I don't exactly have a lot of time left before I leave, I wondered over to J.Crew to try these puppies on. And I love them. Like a lot. They are stretchy and comfy even though they don't look like they would be. And I can roll up the bottoms - they look very cute with cuffs! These are definitely coming with me!!
P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway! The deadline in this Wednesday at 6 pm PST!

Welcome Back!

Hello fellow bloggers! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. I can't believe the first 3-day weekend of the summer has already come and gone! This year is flying by! The hubby and I went to visit my parents this weekend in Portland. We had gorgeous weather the whole time. I even got a little sunburnt! It was hard to go back to work this morning. On the bright side, I only have 2 more weeks until Europe! I can't believe it! I did manage to bring back some goodies from Portland. Here are my scores:

A magenta Clima Cool jacket from Adidas. This is definitely coming to Europe with me!

A gorgeous blue scarf from Nordstrom Rack. The picture doesn't do the color justice. I am a big scarf person!

AND FINALLY. . . . . . . .

My Chanel flats! I did it, I treated myself to a pair!! That's me wearing them!

How did your weekends go?
This is post #90, so you know what that means - giveaway is coming soon! It will definitely happen before your Europe trip. I already have the prize sitting in my room, waiting :)

Europe

I know that I have mentioned this before, but it is just now starting to sink in: In about 3 weeks, I am going on a European vacation! I have a lot going on between now and then, so I trying to start thinking ahead of time about what I need to bring! For those of you who have done a long Europe trip, any advice? What do I absolutely need to bring? Leave at home? We will be visiting 4 different countries, so I can't overpack with all the traveling we will be doing. I need help!

Also, don't forget to stop over at GingerSnap's blog - she hit her 100th post and is hosting a giveaway. And hint hint, I am at my 87th post and may be doing a giveaway at my 100th, so stay tuned!

The Ultimate Question

I was at the outlets a few weeks ago looking for a new polo, and I couldn't decide which one to get! The outlets near me have both a Polo Ralph Lauren and a Lacoste. Of course I like both brands, but when it comes to polos, I hadn't really thought about which polo shirt I liked better! So I am polling my readers: Lacoste polo or Ralph Lauren polo?

Lacoste

(the puppy was just too cute NOT to add to my set :) )
What is your preference?
After trying both on (I own some of both brands, so I definitely didn't need to), I made my decision: I prefer the Ralph Lauren skinny polos. Nothing against Lacoste of course :)

My wedding

So my 2 year wedding anniversary is just about here (crazy how time flies!!). I decided to share a little bit about my fabulous wedding with my blogger friends, so here goes:

First (and most importantly) my dress (that isn't me wearing it, I had to google the style) :

Bridesmaids Dresses:

I am still searching for a picture! They were by the lovely Vera Wang, strapless and tea length, in a periwinkle blue. I will keep looking.

Flowers:

the flowers were all pastel colors, with the main colors being pink and soft yellow.

Flowers at the reception:

My bouquet:

We got married here (that isn't us in the picture):

And we honeymooned here:

Oh and I registered for this Kate Spade fine china:

I can't believe it was all 2 years ago! If you have any questions about my wedding, feel free to ask :)

100 Way Bra

I have a wedding coming up next weekend, and I am planning to where this Diane von Furstenberg dress (but in all black):

As you can see, you can't wear a normal bra with it because of the back (which I LOVE, it's one of the reasons I bought the dress). I have been searching for a special occasion bra, and I found this one at Victoria's Secret called the 100-Way Bra.

Here is a picture showing the 100 ways it can be worn:

I am thinking about investing in one. Anyone tried this? Does it actually work?

Sunday, May 3, 2009

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! The hubby and I had a fabulous weekend - a lot of relaxing, eating, drinking, and shopping! The weather was perfect too. I picked up a scarf that I've had my eye on for a while from J.Crew in the Desert. Here's a picture:

I've liked this since it came out, but it was $60. I got in on sale this weekend.
