Happy St. Patrick's Day

I apologize that this post is so long overdue. Sometimes I don't know where the time goes and how things fly by so quickly!! It's already Wednesday some how! And even better, it's St. Patrick's Day! I hope you remembered to wear your green today! Since I am part Irish, you know I am wearing mine :)

I have plenty of new purchases I want to share with you, some of which are my favs (Tory Burch, J.Crew). I need to be a less lazy blogger and take some pictures. For now, I will share with you my new baby (other than Mr. Winston):





Yep, I bought a YSL Muse Bag! It is a gorgeous navy color (not as bright as it looks in the picture). I bought the large size in Indigo. LOVE IT. I know it's been out for a while, but I can see why it's still so popular.

Winston's First Trip to the Beach

Last weekend we introduced Winston to the beach. He wasn't so sure about the waves, even though he LOVES water! He was definitely curious though!

So I just received the lilac shower shift dress in ginger and I LOVE it!!! I'm not home so I can't post pictures, but its adorable!!! Ill post pictures tomorrow.have a good weekend!

Things that make me happy

I was inspired by Kathy at Two Hands Full of Daisies to post about things that make me happy. Work and life have been nuts, so this is a nice opportunity to stop and think about all the good things :) So here they are, in no particular order:

Starbucks. Yep, it's that simple. A yummy coffee will definitely brighten my day

Winston. All I have to do is look at his sweet face and all my stress melts away (OMG he was SO tiny when we brought him home!)

Fashion magazines. I love reading fun, mindless magazines after thinking so hard all day!

Red Wine. Do I even need to explain?

Shopping: Yes, retail therapy is a real thing

Being Pampered: mani-pedis, trips to the spa.

And of course, my friends and family! I love spending time with them!

i didn't think i could love tory burch any more than I already do, but it's happening. Um I think I need these:

I am obsessing over these for sure.

Also, I am happy to report that this beauty is on its way to my house right now. I can't wait! I will post reviews soon.

Update

Sorry for being MIA for a while. . .work has been nuts. And let's just say I got sent to a VERY VERY cold location for work. It was 9 degrees when I woke up in the morning.. BURRRR! But now I am back and have defrosted a little, so I am back on the blog scene! I came home to a very anxious baby dog who missed me:


The hubby and I are making up for lost time by going out to a yummy dinner tonight at Koi in L.A., one of our favs. I can't wait!
There is one thing I need your help with. In April, I will be attending a very formal (I think) annual event. I will give you a hint: it's in Kentucky and horses are involved :) Any advice on what to wear???? I know I will need a fun hat, and a nice, spring, floral type dress. I just need some help picking out a dress! Any suggestions???

Winston Update

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! The hubby and I had a great time in Vegas. It was hard to come back and go to work on Monday, but Starbucks helped me through it. I have been promising to post some new Winston pictures, and I finally uploaded my pictures, so here are some new pictures of my baby doggie. . . who is getting SO big!







And the hubby did quite well with my birthday gift. . . i'll just say it came in a teal green bag with a white bow :)

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has some fun weekend plans!

So I have mentioned this before, but I have been saving up for a while to splurge on a designer bag. I have always envisioned this bag being a Chanel, this one in particular:

Well today while I was at the mall, I came across this YSL Muse beauty:

I'm still not quite ready to buy one of these, but I do need to start attempting to decide which one these is going to come home with me this year. Any advice on how to decide? The YSL is cheaper, but I don't think that is going to be my deciding factor. The muse comes in many different colors, but I would definitely pick a basic color. I would get the Chanel in black. Hmm decisions decisions!

I have been a fan of Miss Tory since Revas came out, but now I am becoming obsessed. I want EVERYTHING she comes out with!

What to give myself as a birthday gift

So my birthday is coming up in the next few weeks. I have already sent the hubby a list of "ideas" (ideas=hints). Toward the top of my list is this lovely Tory Burch dress:


I am thinking that if I don't get it from him, I am going to receive this beauty from myself :)
