I went to J.Crew today, and I finally got the chance to try on the Anton sweater. It seemed to be selling out quickly, because there were only 2 left. Luckily one was in my size so I could try it on. I am waiting for the camel color. Here is a picture. I am trying it on with the denim pencil skirt (the in-store version, not the online one). I like the Anton, don't really like the skirt on me (maybe it's just too big???) I will post pictures of my entire purchase later.

cute sweater! i was eye-ing this one too!
ReplyDeleteI have been eyeing this one, too! Those 3/4 sleeves bug me, though. And I am not loving the way it lays on those that have tried it. Being endowed will prob muss this one up for me. I love the other colors, too! Please post when you get it:)
ReplyDeleteFirst, I ADORE that sweater. It's fabulous on you!
ReplyDeleteSecond,I bought the Denim Pencil skirt from J. Crew last fall, which is almsot identical to the one this season. They fit big in general. I had to get mine altered so that it looked the way it did in the catalog, but I absolutely love it now. Definitely a great investment piece.
I love the sweater on you--it looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking a photo! The sweater looks nice on you. I really like it, though I agree with bug pin on the sleeves. I wish they were full-length. I like the camel color too as well as black.
ReplyDeleteWould you say the sweater is soft, no itchiness? I found last year's Issy sweater, similar in knit gauge, a bit itchy; i know it had no cashmere. Is the Anton true to size?
thank you all for the comments! I will probably buy this baby in the camel color. I like the length of the sleeves, but I am a 3/4 sleeve girl :)
ReplyDeleteI remember the sweater being very soft, not scratchy at all. It's definitely a very nice material. I am trying on an XS, which is what I usually wear, so I'd say it's TTS. Since it doesn't button up all the way, you may be able to get away with a size down. I hope that is helpful!
